ABOUT THE EVENT
In an era of rapid technological transformations driven by artificial intelligence, computer science is no longer just a tool for analysis, but a strategic lever for renewing research methodologies across various scientific fields, especially in the social and economic sciences. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a cognitive and operational framework capable of reshaping how we understand, model, and anticipate complex social phenomena.
Recent advances in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and social network analysis make it possible to move beyond classical descriptive approaches toward explanatory, predictive, and forward-looking methods. This paradigm shift requires a profound reconfiguration of scientific practices, based on an open and collaborative interdisciplinary approach involving computer scientists, economists, and researchers in the humanities and social sciences.
It is within this context that the National AISEA’25 Conference is organized by the LINFI Laboratory, the Department of Computer Science, the Faculty of Exact Sciences, and the University of Biskra. The conference aims to explore the scientific, technical, and ethical impacts of applying AI to the analysis of social and economic realities.
This conference aligns with the strategic directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Algeria, which encourages the development of interdisciplinary research projects.
This first edition represents a foundational step toward building a national interdisciplinary research network, shaping an innovative scientific community, and developing methodological guidelines for the ethical and relevant use of artificial intelligence in socio-economic analysis.
The AISEA’25 conference will be held entirely online.
